capella 8 is now a lot better in situations where notes and/or accidentals might overlap. There is almost nothing left to shift manually. Alignment of notes and also text has been revised. Well-balanced distances everywhere - this way scores are so much easier to read. Simply beautiful.
Attention! When you have scores written with an earlier capella version, you will have to keep in mind: If you had shifted objects manually in such scores (which was necessary at that time), collision avoidance will not take effect to avoid confusion.
You have the option to reset everything to the original configuration via the provided plugin "Reset horizontal shift". Only then the automatic collision avoidance will do its work.
