Quick fix: Refresh the display with F9.
Permanent fix: Modify the template system (for special cases: Address menu Format - Staves...) to provide more space below the staff (assuming that the lyrics are to be below the notes). There should be sufficient space to accommodate the entire text including all verses. The areas above and below a staff are indicated by a gray bar in the left margin, once color information is switched on (F11).
Exceptional case: In some hymns several words are sung during one note. Here please apply invisible notes.
